Screen Mimic is probably the best screen recording tool I’ve found for the Mac so far. Outputs to .swf, .flv, or .mov. It’s also a universal binary.

    I’ll have to give screen mimic a shot. Perfect timing on this post — I was just looking today for something along these lines. I ended up with a trial of iShowU which I found fairly easy to use as well. No time limit on the demo, but it does display a huge overlay nag-line on the video output reminding you to register.

    You might want to give Snapz Pro a look over also. I use it and it is really quite handy for capturing stills and video.
