Watch your step, a redesign is in process. Currently I have only a wireframe, but in the next few days I hope to complete the design. This was prompted by a couple of things.

For one, I hated the long, scrolling blogesque design that so many weblog sites fall into. The home page now serves much better as an entry page. I’ve been able to add more content but it is summarized so it doesn’t look so crowded. The other reason was prompted by Doug Bowman’s presentation at Web Essentials in Sydney entitled “Pushing your Limits: and other secrets of designing with CSS”. Doug does a brilliant job of explaining his technique for designing multiple layouts that can be changed and repurposed by changing a single id. Once I’m finished with the design, I will document my own process for doing this.
