Crystal Training

I am in Crystal training this week as Novell has made the decision to switch their reporting infrastructure from Actuate to Crystal. The conversion will not be rapid, but hopefully we can get standardized on Crystal soon.
The training is going a little slow on the first day, but hopefully it will pick up a little. We had a session last week that was supposedly more advanced, but I wasn’t able to attend due to finals.
So far, I am much more impressed with Crystal as a business intelligence reporting tool than Actuate. One nice feature is that it has built in support for OLAP which scored big in our book due to our Hyperion Essbase rollout.
