Web Hosting

I recently switched to Dreamhost. My old web host was very reliable and had excellent features, but the price was quite high compared to Dreamhost. I needed more bang for my buck and Dreamhost offered it.

For $15.95 per month from Dreamhost I get:

- 15 full domains, 75 subdomains
- 2560 MB Disk
- 64 GB Transfer
- 300 Mailboxes, 75 Users
- Jabber Chat Server
- Audio and Video Streaming
- Unlimited MySQL databases
- PHP (module or cgi), Ruby, Python, Perl, etc.
- IMAP or POP mail access
- SSH, FTP, SFTP, Samba, VPN, and WebDAV access to my files
- and much, much more.

I researched this a little and found nothing but positive remarks about Dreamhost’s service. I have submitted a couple of support requests since signing up and so far they haven’t taken longer than an hour to respond back saying that my request had been fulfilled.

    I was actually about to switch to Dreamhost this afternoon as my hosting has not been going well and this allows quite a lot of features for a low price.
